Yeah. First few days were pretty eventful, mostly due to folks doing probing and testing the waters. Since then nothing. I fully expect that the last few days will be very eventful. Especially if folks keep adding to the pool :D

Well then. Just a little over 3 days remain till this event is over.

I still hold the king. Aside from 2 recent probing voodoo, one a spy network the other a pirate tales no action so far. But I expect the next 3 days will be when the crap hits the fan the most. Regardless, best of luck to any who still wishes to try to steal the king from me-as you will be needing it :D

Just saw this- don't think it's worth the ship value + anything anyone has put in the pot for the winner. I agree with the earlier motion of maybe having CJ's help making an event like this, I believe the post was by Shadowood.

Good idea in theory, but the execution is pretty costly for such a low reward. Would like to see a more relevant and sensible follow-up event.

Yeah, honestly when I started this event it was pretty spur of the moment-didn't think too much into it, and didn't put too much of a reward, but I figured this would serve as a pretty good test run. Learned a lot from the feedback already. Will probably do this event again someday, but try to put up a better reward.

I don't want to make things easier, as I feel like this should be a hard title to earn, but I also know that I do have an unfair advantage with a fairly low ship count, and good set up. So the reward will have to go up considerably. I'll probably save up and try to have a bigger reward next time.

I'll also talk to CJ about making the next event even better. I do think this can be a good event, and a official title would be an interesting reward if possible.'

edit-also bad luck on getting past that mindbar of mine. Quite a few networks burned. Honestly at this point, you could probably just ask around and get one for free :D

A little under 24 hours until this contest ends. If anyone is planning to try to steal the king, this is the last chance to do so. He still be in my possession at this moment.

To help encourage any last minute attempts, I'll go ahead and share some details.

The king is in a fleet called Hill, which is in Aiora. 4 tails, all howkers. None have levi ship protection(not from personal choice mind you, just I built 4 for the event and didn't luck out :D).

I'll go ahead and add a restriction to myself. I won't replace any tails that are destroyed for the remainded of the contest. So if you sink all the tails in the next ten minutes for example, well that will make the king very exposed for the rest of the contest.

I might add more restrictions to myself later on. I ask those in my guild, or outside of it to not lend any help to me. Feel free to work with other's to steal it though.

Edit-another quick fact. I got a mindbar on at the moment. No counter curses though. I want the last 24 hours to be as action filled as possible :D

Well The contest is now over. Surprisingly, I somehow won :D.

All in All, not as successful as I wanted it to be, but I learned a lot and got some great feedback, and as far as test runs go, I certainly think it could have went far far worse.

Those who pledged prizes, feel free to hold onto whatever you offered the winner to give to the next event, or if you do decide to give them to me, I'll probably carry it over to the next event I make, and sweeten the pot.

I do admit that the pot this time just wasn't sweet enough to warrant stealing the king. I think if a better prize is added and maybe a special title and achievement that should go a long way. I also liked the idea of making a special ship be the prize. Something that is quite good, but can never be stored away.
