To the people of Avonmora through the words of King DoomIris the first of Wake Island:
From this day, unto a foretold specified day, of the first year of our lord (57th day), the royal King DoomIris the first of Wake Island, does hereby declare a war of the word and wit between himself and the King of Spain, one infamous Rolando_De_Sandoval. He does call upon the people of this here earth (excluding those of the royal retinue of the participating kings) to judge us, as seen by the eyes of the world, the winner or loser of five consecutive literary battles, too occur on the following days of the 2nd moon in the first year of our lord:

The following rules shall be enacted as terms of war:
Neither King may speak unto the world until the other has replied (Starting (on behalf of the courtesy of King DoomIris the first of Wake Island) with the King of Spain, Rolando_De_Sandoval).
The words to be spoken will retain relevance to one of five prompts (no more than 1 sentence long)decided by the previous winner (One for each day of battle, to be started by his royal highness King DoomIris the first of Wake Island).
The winner will be decided upon points that are given (in part), from a vote (after the last battle) from the Avonmorian people (7 points), as well as guidelines decided before the first battle begins (stated below):
+1 point shall be given to the warrior who sticks to the prompt(s), in each of his posts.
-1 point shall be given to the warrior who does not stick to the prompt, in each his posts.
+1 point shall be given to the warrior who does state accurate, easily found facts (in each post).
-1 point shall be given to the warrior who does not state accurate, easily found facts (in each post).
-1 point shall be given for an insult (as decided by Captain Jack or other Mod/Admin) for each post.
The total for each battle shall be posted as the last post for that day's battle.
The winner shall have the most (or the least negative) points at the end of each battle.
The final winner will be decided by the number of battles won.
The final winner shall be given a compensation of 10 million gold coins per week for a period of 10 weeks by the losing warrior at the end of this war. This is to be paid through the use of commandeer cards.
The dead may not tell tales, but they certainly have one.
