yeah, would say dman is right. This is a thread to discuss the draft-both good things and bad things. So long as everyone tries to be respectful any criticisms of the draft should be allowed.

To argo, Then I would suggest that those who do not want their pledged prizes that were specific to last place request a refund. Though whether shadow would give up gold is another matter. :D

No draft has been run the same way as the original. It has changed and evolved since then. If only doing it the way Shadowood did it is the lead criteria to qualify as 'the Fantasy Draft' then why not say so before it started? All credit to Shadowood for creating and bringing it thus far. But it was his choice to step back and let others pick up the strain. I dont believe he intended the new organisers should never deviate from previous practice. Many past posts have discussed new forms for the draft.
So, a little less 'I told you so' and 'It should be this' or 'it should be that'. Its a piece of light-hearted fun, not a constitutional amendment or Holy Scripture.
Let the current organisers get it done as best as they see fit cos you know, they got off their asses to do it.
As for the next one, have your say on how it should be done beforehand. Maybe join in and do some graft yourself. Otherwise, your opinion is like an flower, we all got one and they only smell good to us.

Mmm. Der filter says 'flower'.. but its kinda obvious what I really wrote...

I would never ever have suggested a refund Mel....its not about the money for me...

Maybe just leave it there for next draft .. I don't care..lol

Regardless, whatever happens next, I for one, am looking forward to being here to see this new on-going tradition properly birthed and thriving!

Good luck to all.

The topic is only open to those opposing the train wreck? Or is that just one persons definition?

Complex notion, as he spoke French, poorly, and English not at all.

Anyone can say what they want about the draft here, so long as no rules are broken. While I do think dman is being overly critical, He should be allowed to say what he wants about the draft so long as no rules are broken.

I apologize if anyone felt like or feels like I or anyone else would censor any criticisms or complaints. This is a discussion thread- so whether you have good things or bad things to say about the draft, you can say them here.

nah you are fine mel we often disagree and i may be over critical but i havent said you shouldnt say something i dont like unlike some who think it is there job to control speech when they feel they want too
but i have been critical of it before lol even with shadow running it but i did so in vudu chat and the things i disliked were out of his control
but this time the one running it isnt in my guild and i dont talk to strangers lol

I don't think you properly read my warning. Name calling didn't and won't belong in Tavern. You made a nice post after the incident. That's why you have a warning. For name calling
