And to be frank didn't believe the others mentioned were actively recruiting and training newcomers.
It might be useful to have a dedicated thread in the forum where each guild that wishes to engage with and assist does there blurb and keeps it updated?

I know that Star and Guard actively sent out invitations, Just many don't accept. Not sure about the others I mentioned as I rarely saw newbies in the new arrival list in their guild, could be that they have different standards for invites. I sent invites to arrivals with more then 0 fame, fairly often. Though many went inactive shortly afterwards.

Happy to be in PR now though. Star was a bit lonely with only me as a teacher :D

lol everyone except Meliva forgot about my guild

What's wrong with inbred privateers?

Nothing if you live in Alabama :P.

Actually, Florida, Kentucky, and Indiana are significantly higher in incest than that of Alabama.

I think Florida has the highest

Port Royal

Greetings me fellow bildgerats, I come to ye with another update :hh

It 'as been around three to four days since my update. However quite a few things have changed in that small amount of time.

Port Royals Newest Members:
- Anomander Rake
- Scraps
- Not Pixel
- Itz_PoCkYsTiCkS-
- Captain Foxy
- Pazzo d'Oro
- everette
- Jack Teach

Now I feel like there be one individual that I might need explaining to why he be in our guild; that individual is Captain Foxy. I should make it known that despite Captain Foxy having a number of enemys we do realize his past in training new players has been good whilst having a good amount of assets. That being said, I should make it also known his application was approved on a 2-1 basis. One guild leader dissaproved of him joining. However we welcome all these players, with open arms.

Port Royals Guild News:

- Port Royal has now closed its door to experianced players, we reached our maximum threshold... For now... We are still letting in new players.

- We now be looking for Investors, folk that can help aid the fight in keeping new folk in Avonmora around through one way or another.

- Port Royal is now sitting somewhat comfortably at rank #5, having its rank rise by 3 in the previous few days.

Investors:

Now to the folk pondering what are investors? Investors are folk willing to put forward some of their assets by offering services to our newer players an typical example is by buying resources at a slightly higher price. This way the experianced players are not spending every penny of theres on trying to get the new players up and running - We want to enjoy the game, too you know! If yerself or ye know someone that wants to be an investor please message me at Port Royal:57267.

Current Investors:
- xProx
- Lodswe

This is it for this tavern post, mates. If the winds blow in a favorable wind direction, ye will hear from us again.

Long live Port Royal.
Bloodthirsty Pirate,
Pirate Nelson. :hh ^^ :arr

I disagree Nelson, I don't see the need to explain anyone joining any guild, and besides, explain to who really. Looks like your guild is really beefing up. Good luck!

Let me explain why you are wrong.

Clock, historically, comes with a lot of baggage. That baggage is a risk for the guild as a whole and especially for small players within that guild. Ignoring those risks, especially for a training guild is ill advised. Nelson stating his reasons is acknowledgement and possible mitigation of those risks.

Those that do not know and learn from their history are forsaken to repeat it.

My point was only that there were only a handful of people who still harbor ill feelings about clock.

Im sure you would find far more who dont like certain old guilds, but im sure they would say you cant hold ill feelings against people who came from them guilds because that was the past... and they would be right!

So in my humble opinion, he need not explain clock being in a guild any more than any other player just to appease a handful of people when the rest of the game could care less.

Cheers Mate :beer

I appreciate the chance, Mr. Nelson, to be teamed up with one of the scariest and persistent players once more. May we have success and prosperity in training some future Titans!
