LOL..... sure that is how it happened..... :D :D

Let's go with that version of revisionist history. Makes for a better story.

Seems fake news has crept into Pirates Glory as well.

You realize that it's a promotional piece we are writing here. It is meant to be dramatic. It is our intention to create interest in Pirates Glory so that new players might be attracted to the game. Did you follow the link and read the entire post on reddit? The recent rise of Australia was treated in a very favorable light. You might want to check it out, just to put things in context.

The latest Pirates Glory Updates and News #17 has just been posted to Reddit

Excerpt >
Pirate Port / Birth of the Pirate Nation.

One additional development has been the Pirate Nation’s ability to take, and control, the port of Psaral. This is an unprecedented occurrence in the history of Pirates Glory. Pirates have taken ports in the past, but all of these coups have been short lived.

The Pirate uprising is led by William One Eye, a veteran of the game, he was the King of IoM before the partition. He actually controlled two ports, for a time, before Australia attacked St. Martins, and wrested that port from his control.

Well done mate, we need folks willing to contribute to the growth of the game

"Meant to be dramatic" but not meant to be the truth.

As far as the rise of Australia.... no need to read it because there was no input by Australia. The two mentions of Australia are based entirely on a false premise.

Marketing should be based on truth even if it isn't dramatic.

Unlike the market, there is no currency in delivering a newsfeed. Market and a promotional page are completely different. Yes the posters are making a small fraction of currency, HOWEVER, this alone doesn't provide a profit in any currency currently existant by itself.

It is a promotional page feniks. Did u think that the attention graber of history class was learning that automotives started with 4 wheels? No, it woulda been the dramatic war with the emus.

If you'd like to correct such stuff, you can PM edward, the current PR Admin, and have him edit and fix the material. Or be a human of decency and talk to him in a more respectful manner. We're all human behind the screen. Act accordingly.

Yes Feniks, the PGPromo Team would be interested in hearing you comments regarding recent news and events.
Just for the record, the PGPromo Team did try to interview you. You told our correspondent Jose Gasparila, in no uncertain terms, that you did not give your consent to be quoted, or referred to, in any of our write ups. It was your choice not to contribute, and we respected your wishes in that regard.
So when you write:
"As far as the rise of Australia.... no need to read it because there was no input by Australia."
That is an unfounded complaint. You were given a chance to express your view of events, but you declined, If you would like to reconsider your position, perhaps we could arrange for you to be interviewed at some future date.

Thats because the [premise he came to me with was completely off and he had already written 90% of what was going to be published. Of that 90% already written more than half of it was a complete fabrication of the actual events. It was his opinion of what happened. Someone who had been in the game only a few months was telling me the history of IoM, UK, Spain and the conflicts between them........ not a good way to come to me and ask for comment.

Based on the history I have had with the "PR" team and coordinator in the past, there really was no hope of getting truth to come out. I am not into self promotion or glorification like past members/coordinators of the PR team.

Show some actual interest in getting a true accounting of events and maybe my opinion will change.
