Well, you could adopt the anarchistic notion that expecting ANY political party to bring forth freedom is naive. But thats more an argument about organisation and the inevitable way they move to preserve and reward themselves often in defiance of their founding principles or, indeed, often failing to act upon any principles at all.

I always liked the coyote : the triumph of hope over experience : the dogged determination : the refusal to accept defeat : the ceaseless search for the new technologies : a hero, no less.

As for the Roadrunner : noisy critter engaged in meaningless high-speed journeys that never seemed to have any purpose.

A lesson for us all but about what I have little idea.

But admit it, whenever you see a lycra-clad sweaty panting jogger.. dont you find yourself reaching for the metaphorical ACME catalog?

Fantastic analysis, I too miss that coyote but also find an inner piece knowing that he/her/dog/bird would never find schlimself subjected to the the front page of the Washington Post being ripped apart by those who would call out toxic coyote-ism and force him to submit to the beep means beep (#beeptoo) movement.

For that reason alone, im glad that helicopter perents decided that the loony toons were way too violent for today's youth, besides, who has time while todays kids are playing fallout and mortal combat.
