Man, the only thing more sad then how this thread got derailed so badly is the amount of progress the Dev team has made.

But seriously, do me a favor guys and take the arguments into it's own thread. This stuff belongs in union of honor not the tavern.

I must admit I am a bit disappointed at the effort put forth so far. There have been a few really good submissions, but considering the easy subject material, I was expecting so much more.

The reason why this failed

Is because the only ones who dis the dev team
Have already made their insults here.

The majority of the playerbase does not stay active on the forums. These results are expected

Players only join forums when it involves them, and this wasnt forced so they didnt need to participate.

Plus

Posting here makes them a target in the long run, by showing when they are online.

The only way for this contest to work is by getting more players into the game. We would have had 4x the results with 2x the amount of players

This can be settled by teaching players to be more active on forums, which is up to training guilds and role models.

Simply put

The game is dying in public activity, and is turning into pendoria, where no one talks and thousands play. Its a deadzone thats silently active. Thats where the game cant be.

I have talked with pendoria. They have over 1000 weekly active players overall. Throughout the days.

I cant share the exact measurement. They want that quiet. But talking to them and seeing their stuff, yup.
