Cargo was misloaded and caused your ship to tip over(loss of cargo+level on ship)
While sailing, you find an uncharted island(offer player chance to explore it)
1.upon exploration,you find a vast reserve of gold(+lots of money)
2.the natives attack!!(high loss of crew)
3.You discover a new creature(+lots of fame)
You should also have certain events be truly random, while some events are more likely than others to happen in certain places or at certain times.
In the beginning, the world was created. This has widely been regarded as a bad move.
