Regardless, this is not about Poppy.
I doubt he would pick up the challenge for completely different reasons.
It is a challenge Shadow has made to the community as a whole to choose his target for some one on one fun and excitement. A chance to blow some voodoo and GC against a target willing or not.

I'm looking at the current pool of players and what they have at there disposal. Do I think PP is a juggernaut if it was an honest one versus one matchup? Not particularly. But having and utilizing other people and other resources is a strategy and given that fact, Merc executes like no other and supports their leader like no one which in turn makes PP a nasty animal to deal with. They have no shame. Can't target you? No problem. They will target your nation, your guild, your known associates. Still not a big deal? They will lock you down into floating nothing but a sloop, chain confused until you tap out.

I get what your saying Banger but simple fact, you cant go up against them given your current set up and they seem almost untouchable in that sense, but the way to win is alter that setup to compete against your current opponent... adaptation. MERC is not above anyone else if they go the lengths. You can drain them it just takes time, if they don't keep going you do until they decide to find some other means of settling the dispute like compensation etc. "Patience and Strategy" win every day..

I have no doubt under Poppy's leadership, the guild can do some serious damage to any other guild in Avonmora but this is not about that.
It is a one on one challenge which is a completely different thing where there is two main deciding factors.
That be, time and turns... that is the deciding factor in a war between 2 stocked, experienced players.
