Same. I truly did not expect anything to survive the fire, or if something did it would be so badly hurt it would be easy for me to finish off. Honestly if I had gone in alone like I initially planned to, I would have been forced to flee or die. The mutt helped quite a bit too admittedly. We might have had to flee or die if not for it. If I had my partner Veera with me, things would have gone so much easier, but sadly she's tied up at the moment. Good work nonetheless.

Yeah, going back would be nice right about now. As for the worm, well after so many stabs, slashes and claws hitting it, it had to die eventually. But frankly i'd rather deal with this over a powerful witch or sorcerer any day. This may be an abomination sure, but what's even worse then an abomination is someone who can make the damn things. Bloody cave we fought this thing in was filled with the damn things-it's just this one survived the fire unlike the others.

After a safe voyage back to Valorim, and with the rest of the festival going by peacefully, the group heals up as the festival slowly ends. A few rumors float around about some great treasures being found near Aiora as many merchants and pirates alike set their sights on the port.

And I think that should wrap this story up. Next one will be up in a day or 2, and will be centered at Aiora. See you all there
