true : tough figuring out a time-frame which allows fair competition for the cards...

The idea all together unbalances the system in many ways. Most of them, I do not even want to list. An instant option is a game changer which we would rather avoid. The exploitations that open are the number 1 reason to avoid changing the system.

Card market is fine as it is. The core philosophy on how cards are traded is the optimal solution for the game. It could only use improvements like pop up windows for ending auctions, more notifications, improved wishlist, buying history etc.

On that note : an improvement would be if, once you register an interest in a specific card (wishlist), you received a notification when one appears in the auction, much like the event when you are outbid, which would allow you to place an initial bid.

If there is a danger of over-loading the server if too many big wishlists are created, a simple limit on the number of cards you can select (and be able to deselect too) at any one time may help.

i don't see why competition for the cards is an issue... the ones who pay for credits would still have an advantage, as would the players who don't have a job or work at home, because they can be online to catch the auctions as they are ending.
In the beginning, the world was created. This has widely been regarded as a bad move.
