Vune simply laughs

Mate, that dagger, while nice, wouldn't be enough to kill me. Certainly not be accident anyway-you'd have to really commit with it. And believe me-I've cheated death quite a few times over my long life.

So who are you looking for-I might be able and willing to help. As right now I'm doing nothing except fund a big festival. It makes for a nice distraction while i have underlings doing things elsewhere.

the local Church's doors open and two drunks run out in sheer terror being chased out by enraged priest waving a stick above his head.

Keep out and STAY out! If I ever see you two ingrates gambling in here again I'll wring your necks!

The ragged figure steps behind Vune, void of emotion. The figure removes a rag from the left side of the head and whats seen is a dark, burnt like skinned man. With an eye, that seems to resemble a clock-like iris that is a bright blue. The rest of the mans face is covered by his rags, however telling the age of such a figure was near impossible by first impression.

Sounds of silence..
Shifting of sands and seas..
I speak in simile...
I speak in spades..

Vune looks to the man and puts a hand to her chin as she chuckles

You know, it's always a strange occurence when it's someone else being vague and mysterious to me rather then the other way around. So I'm guessing you're not here for the festivities. Also rather impolite to interrupt a conversation between me and my... was going to say friend, but that's not quite right. Acquaintance is more appropriate. Anyway, John if you wish to enlist my help feel free to come find me. Just ask for me anywhere and i'll pop up in a bit. I have some shopping to do, and some preparations.

She casually walks over to Stanley

If you have nice clothes or masks I might be interested in buying them-more so masks-I have quite the collection of them to be honest, but new robes are always nice.

The figure turns at startling speeds, and stares Michael into his eyes with the sinister clock-eye. It seems the ticks on the clock-iris spin and adjust to midnight. The figures eye opens wider and steps toward Michael. Moments later, the figure breathes in, and exhales with a deep toned breath.

Many names many of men maimed...
Many of them slayed the same and i am the one to blame..
Many say insane, i say a tame craze..
For if its a name of me you want proclaimed,
Reset the clock and seek my past claims..

Vune shouts back to Michael

I would recommend keeping a distance to that fellow, but also to keep an eye on him. Unless you're willing to try to figure out the hell he's saying. But folk like him are typically incapable of giving straight answers. But until he feels like telling us a proper name, I vote we simply call him Rags. On second thought, never mind, even if he gives a proper name, I think that's what I shall call him. A nice nickname if I do say so myself.

She reaches into her robes and just tosses a large sack of gold to Stanley

Eh, just give me whatever you have left in the cargo, hand it to the local innkeeper. I have matters elsewhere to attend to. But have fun, and ask Brian or Carl if you need anything.

She quickly begins heading toward the inn
