When you begin the game you recieve 3 offers: one with a sloop, one with a low level cutter, and one with a howker fleet. I think they each cost 15 credits

The 1000 turn in 100 credits is another deal thats a one time offer

Bumping this as I think it will significantly increase the amount of card and ship market transactions, and it simply make sense.

While it will definitely make transactions more specific and accurate, I don't think any increase in the number of transactions will be significant.

That being said, I see no reason why this can't be implemented.

My thinking re the increase in transactions is based on the low end of each market.
Howkers, sloops etc will make a lot more sense on the ships market at a fraction of the Minimum 1 credit allowable atm
Ditto on the card market, especially for new players, making it easier to sell (and buy) single dutch indians, rings etc.
Won't have as much impact on players with established chests or fleets I agree

Credit revaluation can only help the markets : it will unlock a whole raft of new transactions by providing fairer pricing for both buyer and seller for those items worth less than 1cr/250k gc... of which there are way too many, both ships and cards.
For those concerd that it will swamp the markets with low-cost offers.. well... whats so bad about that? Would a market full of slow selling over-priced low value items be that much better?
Let the market decide : over production will slow up sales and prompt movement into other areas anyway... as it does now but with far fewer areas to move into.
Lets move beyond the current choices of LMM or TG and yep, they are over-priced too.

PS: You will need to add Ship Market Slots as a credit cost that would need updating. My view is that 5 cr is too high anyway and becomes even more so if one wishes to occupy that slot with a low-value ship.

Thanks for the Ship Market Slots, and I actually agree with you on that 5 Credits per slot is a lot, but then again, you always have the slot once purchased.

I have never pursued buying any extra slots because 5cr to sell 1 credit ships is lunacy.
