So what kinds of goings on have been going on?

Eloth shrugs

The point is if you kill your enemy, then your enemy can't do no more harm to you or your friends. It's pretty bloody simple. You don't simply leave a dangerous being alone and let it go and wreck whatever it wants just because you don't feel like stopping the damn thing. None of my family likes going around killing cultists or fighting evil beings but we normally do it anyway, because otherwise they just go and make a huge damn mess and we end up having to deal with an even bigger headache then if we just nipped the problem in the bud.

As for what's been going on, not much. There's some very powerful magic in the air, reports of strange sights and sounds, but nothing bad has happened yet, or at least as far as I'm aware. I think there are at least 2 groups doing something here, but there are actually probably more then just the 2.

That's Carl Carlson, or crazy carl as some like to call him.

What's our first order of bussiness?

Eloth shrugs

Honestly we have no idea. Brian and Carl are both mostly clueless on magic and other supernatural things, and I'm not exactly the best at it either-save for blowing crap up with it. I told mother that she should send my sister, or one of my cousins to handle this, they know more then I do, but apparently they were needed elsewhere. They might swing by if they finish early but no telling when that may be.

So for now we were just sitting here watching folks come and go, keeping an eye out for any suspicious folks and keeping an ear open for any rumors. So far all we learned is that there is something hiding out in the mountains to the north. We were hoping we could find out if there was anything closer. No luck so far, so we may have to hike up north.

Alright. Guess we'll do the same thing .

Charles, his brother, and the officer sit down and get drinks, Charles's brother only getting some very light ale

This lich you mentioned-he nearby and causing trouble? If so, might be worth it to go take care of him and see if we can get any other leads while doing so. If not I think we will be heading up to the mountains and checking it out.
