Cap D- Aye was thinking of trying to add a save function eventually, although was gona just default name, fleet 1,fleet 2 etc, adding custom names shouldn't be to hard if i can remember how to make it save in the first place .
- How about, an option to determine which fleet out of a group of say 5 fleets is the fastest/slowest? Not sure how easy that'd be to do yet though...

I was originally using excel to calculate travel times and best routes etc, although the amount of spreadsheets i had got a little bit crazy in the end, so i decided to refine it after the distances came out and make it more streamlined and easier to use. But to answer your question, I'm making it in VB 2010 express edition, been a few years since i programmed but it's slowly coming back .

It's a wee 356kb .exe file that sits on top of all windows, like the web browser, so you can swap between it and PG without in annoyingly going behind all the time, cos swapping between windows gets annoying, the logo on the splash screen(not shown) also has a link straight to the PG login page .

And here is v2 at present. Just doing final bug checks on it now but seems to be working absolutely fine.
Version 2 includes the ability to calculate a full fleet of different stat ships, it will tell you the slowest ship in your fleet and travel time because of that ship.

I like Cap D's idea of saving fleet make up and re-selecting in the future, so think that is def going be a part version 3 if i can manage it.

Also Due to the completion of v2, I've decided to release Shaydo's Journey Calculator Lite v1.1 for you all to enjoy.
the lite version has the voodoo function removed but still retains all other functionality for calculating single ship times.

The Latest Update on the PG Calculator v2.2...

The latest version contains all the features of the previous versions as well as the ability to save fleets once created for later viewing.
It also includes an assortment of peripherals to make calculations in pirates glory even easier.

Features Include:
Journey Calculators
Single Ship (Calculates journey time of any ship between any 2 ports, with any ship configuration)
Fleet (Calculates journey time for any fleet make up, between any 2 ports, also allows fleet to be saved for later use)
Voodoo
Turn cast Calculator (Total Cards being cast and total turns required to cast all cards)
Miscellaneous
Officer Cost Calculator (Single officers, an amount of officers, or full trade fleets)
Warehouse Upgrade Cost (From any level to any level it will tell you the total cost)
Influence Cost (Gold required to increase influence by X, or Charity Donations Needed to increase influence by X)
Ship Upgrade cost (Determine the upgrade cost at any level, for any ship, with a running total for overall cost)

I wish i could try the lite version but windows says it's protecting my pc from an unknown app.

Aye it will be an unknown app, i'm not a licensed developer so i can't sign the programs certified as safe, so there made by an unknown developer.
Just have to trust me that it's legit. It is, no dodgy code or background routines in there, but windows doesn't know that cos it's not signed.

Ask anyone that's used it, it's safe.
