yeah, I don't use ships bigger then a flag for my escorts. Too tempting for pirates like yourself. ;)

Another tip to traders-escorts are good to have, but don't make them too tempting for a ship raid. Proper tails also are a must.

Maxing out spanish tech, then using FG for escorts is a good combo in my opinon. Makes them able to handle most ships, boosts their speed, and they generally are too meh for a pirate to really want them :D

I used to run mow escorts. Shadow stole one but it was a tough fight for him even tho i wasnt online LOL

He did very well honestly. He was very close to failing from my setup. He actually didnt profit

Just a minor notation to this, you can't sell GBs that you make with your GS at the port that holds your hideout.

false. Just bought a single gold bar from the market, then when I tried to sell it back it won't let me. So either your mistaken or that's a bug.

but now the worst part is I have a single gold bar in a port that I either need to move or be stuck with. Gonna bug the crap outta me for a while. Curse you dez, I shall have vengeance for this minor inconvenience :duel :P

I will say this.. I have zero'd (myself) many times and rebuilt. I have built and built and then built some more.

Few weeks back I too had over 500 ships. I now have 50. Easy come easy go.

Rebuild, become stronger, maybe try another game path. It will make you a better player, trust me.

If memory serves shadow you sold your fleets which doesn't really amount to the same thing … does it?

Glad you reconsidered El Draque. No doubt that's a rude awakening when you logged in. But Captains and other officers are the expensive part of building up. You still have those. Ships are relatively easy, although it would take some time to get the turns to build them (or credits to buy them).

During the Merc/Vudu war, I was zeroed (hello, shadowood) - my backbone? 3 60p sotls in my marina, and as the ceasefire/peace treaty came out, I took them out in an instant. Within a week, I was way stronger than before the war - while I had made a few creds seeking voodoo during the war as well. With ships comes ships. Lol.

That’s why I said “myself”. But no matter how you lose ships, my point is it is easy to get them back.

I could have 500 ships in a few days time easy if I wanted. So can drake
