ALMOST all the mechanics are currently in game to flesh out a guild improvement fund with the exception of ability to pool guild funds into a singular bank account. If joint bank accounts were available where any guild member can deposit into one specific account and signatories were req'd to withdraw, the issue would go away.
This would allow the current game mechanics to be manipulated to serve the purpose needed.

What purpose would this serve. I see no advantage to this in a guild setting.

I understand your inability to see where this would provide no real improvement to general game play. I look at it quite differently and can see some major advantages especially in regard to administration of such a project and in its current form, keeping track of guild fees or membership donations (if implemented) is a nightmare in a normally functioning bank as it currently stands

I didn't know guilds had membership fees or guild funds. This is news to me.

i personally oppose mechanics, that allow to extract coins from many, to be at disposal, or at control of few. nations already act in such way, and there are ways for some to use it for their personal gains. why add similar option for guilds? like already said few times, if members want to share their gains, game provides numerous ways to do so

I give the idea a strong +1.

Think of it almost as an insurance policy/company. Each guild member pays their “premium” to the guild bank each term and when they suffer losses, they can get reimbursed. Much like skirmish insurance from nations.

Or guilds could use it to reward certain actions of guildmembers.

Or they may direct funds to players to offset costs of voodoo/ships/hideout like some nations do as well.

There are so many options this could be used for. Personally, I think guild functions need to be improved. I think if guilds get more advanced/interactive, it’ll help retention rates of new players.

I'm strongly in favor of Guild Banks. So +1 from me.

Also I'm confident that, in case it will be implemented (and I hope so as this would be a good improve to team game) CJ will find a solution for every misuse people might think. The pros are very much more than the cons.
Stay tuned on Radio Image Bermuda!

Are you a new player? Contact me in game and I'll cast a helping voodoo. Consider this like a sort of "tutorial mission".

Your point #1 You can have your own bank or use one of the many banks in Avonmora for this. It is called a backbone.

Point #2 Also can be done now through many of the banks available.

This can be done also through the many banks that already exist.
