The 80s were the years of low budget videos, full of colors, weird hair, and strange bands making lot of dance music.
No, ok, there were good things too. Very good things. But there must be a reason why a band like Milli Vanilli appeared in the 80s. To put it simple, the duo of "singers" didn't sing, nor did they write their songs. A plan well planned, like the Colonel "Hannibal" Smith used to say, good authors, good voices, and cool faces. But they all were different people.
Fab and Rob were the frontmen of the duo backslashed by media when the truth became public. Accused to be a "fraud", their Grammy Award was withdrawn.
Strange as we can accept the same thing in a movie, an actor playing a role and sometimes talking by someone else voice, but we spontaneously reject this happening in music world.
