That would be useful, but the remaining locals are already commiting to that role. Perhaps, you and your men could go to the hills farther to the east, and hide there. Then when the time is right, you all come rushing out and hit them in the rear. I recommend waiting for about half an hour to an hour after the fighting starts, when the enemy are fully focused on us, and wouldn't notice a sneak attack.

Aye aye sir. That's what we'll do.

Jack calls to his men, one hands him four pistols, he tell james and Michael the plan. they go to the hills.

The admiral nods, as he turns to Eloth

Your probably the best person to spear the front line, your sister can stay in the mansion and help from afar with her magic. We should all get into position. Good luck to all of you. If we need to retreat, I suggest we flee to Hannes and regroup there. That's where most of our forces are. If that falls, we can fall back to Jack's island. I do not think with their forces they could make it all the way to there beating everything in there path, but best to be prepared.

At the dawn of the next day, a large fleet of ships begin approaching the port. Countless longboats begin rowing towards the port, filled with a large horde of armed men, though most of the fleet move onward, sailing further north. The old admiral sees this and sighs

Well, looks like they plan on hitting Hannes while these men take Porte. Might need to flee towards Chalkos instead after this, but that might corner us. Then again, Caspian might be a good option as most of their fleet is now north of us, not south. Better send a message to Jack to let him know where we aim to run too next.

A messenger Pidgeon is dispatched, as the people of the Port begin preparing for the invasion. The hordes swarm forward, as Eloth and a group of men meet them in battle on the streets while the locals take shots from buildings, many of the invaders trigger traps and run into ambushes. The sounds of battle are loud, and both sides fight with fury. Eloth smiling as he slams his Warhammer into the attackers, killing them easily as he smashes through their ranks.

Jack looks at the letter and nods. He and his men what silently for any men to come their way

The attackers completely ignore the hills, focusing all their effort into storming the port, the streets are filled with bodies and blood, as the invaders smash into the defenders, slowly overwhelming them, Eloth and the men fighting alongside him soon find themselves being pushed back further and further, many of them dying against the unending horde, as Eloth shouts as he slowly gets overwhelmed.

Sweet mother of mine how many of these buggers are there.

Eloth throws them off him as he notices he's the only one left standing in his area, and decides to retreat back to another group, not wanting to fight a horde of armed men alone. The admiral from the mansion looks out at all this and sighs

I was rather hoping they were going to underestimate us, and only send a small force, but they really are taking this seriously. Our forces are being pushed back further and further, and soon they will reach us here. Zephyra, you should begin preparing to escape with some of our better men.

As the battle rages on, Eloth quickly retreats back to the mansion upon Zephyra calling him back, the 2 of them quickly gather up a handful of men, and quickly retreat through an escape route as they begin heading to Caspian. The admiral and the remaining defenders continue the fight, slowly getting pushed further and further back, as the last of them begin to fall. The admiral simply sighs as he see's the enemy getting closer to the mansion.

Hmm. Well this was certainly a one sided battle. Still, I do believe they lost more men then we did, so I suppose at the very least we made this a pyrrhic victory for them, which is pretty good given the circumstances.
