deleting inactive players

In Australia I've noticed that there are a lot of inactive players. Maybe after a year can they be deleted automatically?

Just deport them. But maybe devs could make quicker way to deport inactives maybe make a link twoards members of nation a d quick link near them to check are they eglible for deportation

Inactives are already deleted on weekly basis. If an inactive player is not removed, then he is regarded as an important player for the game history.

are you sure? I can see a couple of hundred people in Australia that are inactive with 0 influence and fame and I'm sure they aren't all 'part of game history' because they aren't famous or respected...

This has been discussed before in other forums - the bottom line is if nations wish to clear their roles, they can deport the inactives. Easily done, and gives nation something to do!

As for the long list of inactives, they will be eventually deleted.

My perspective - I will happily deport inactives to keep the nation roles clear, and leave time for devs to work on other game features, ie, plantations and Flagship, etc.

Inactive accounts don't seem to interfer with game play, at least as far as I can tell.

As others and SHM just said above if you don't like seeing inactives in the nation, submit a vote to deport them. I've deported hundreds if not to close a thousand inactives from the USA at one point.

If anything, the dev needs to implement a tool to mass select players for deportation.

I've seen lots of inactive players on the USA roster who started playing hundreds of days ago and have nothing on their profile, indicating they just logged in once or twice. I've never seen anything indicating that anyone is automatically deleted from the game after a period of inactivity. If they have ships and/or spent 1000 turns, they'd have hostility points from not paying taxes and would be pirates by now, IIRC.

I agree that the deportation process is cumbersome. I'd hate to guess how many hours DezNutz Shadowood spent deporting all those players.
