[Exists] Load from Warehouse first then buy from Market

Postby Tilemaxos » Wed Jul 24, 2013 5:32 am

CJ,

May we have an option to load ships from the warehouse and only if there is no more of the good being sold at that particular port in the warehouse, do you buy from the market?

For example I am loading tools from my warehouse in Vaasburg to sell in Neapolis. Once there are no more tools in my warehouse in Vaasburg, I will automatically purchase from the market.

Thanks,

T-

So, we were thinking how to implement this in the best way. After we designed the way we jumped into the code.

Then we saw something weird there... then asked ourselves, what's the point in unloading a warehouse and then do nothing? No point, we answered.
We would we ever implement such a thing? we asked again. We wouldn't, we answered.

That's right folks, this ALREADY exists.
The problem was a TYPO. Dunno how it made itself there. It has been fixed in the selection screens already.

We noticed only a tiny issue, it might leave a few cargo unsold (ie in our Fleet with 5 trade galleons and 250 crates remaining, the first ship loaded 150 crates from the warehouse but the rest snubbed the 100 remaining cargo and preferred buying directly from the market. At some point, we might fix this but it is not a real issue).
