The priest raises his hands and says something unintelligible in Latin, two of the ghosts disappear

Agnar and Mikkel takes on two of them, using the full length and power of their longswords to damage both the ghosts

They can be hurt, yet we cleave them like they're nothing, but it apparently isn't enough. Fascinating.

[Meliva]

Emily slashes faster and faster, with all her strength, as its form begins to dissipate. it finally vanishes as she moves on to another.

Well, its rather hard to kill something that's already dead. I'm just glad most of them went after Ellen.

She feels something grab her ankle as she looks down at a hand grabbing her, before she can react she is dragged into the chasm and falls. A few more hands are seen near the edge of the chasm reaching out for more people to grab, Carl and Brian leap back and finish off another ghost only a few remain as Carl and Brian begin to pant.

This is easily one of the worst fights of my life.

The priest shouts something, a clap of thunder is heard overhead. The ghosts disappear.

[Meliva]

A few more ghosts come out from the roof of the cave, but Ellen follows them and blasts them with light. She pants tired as she looks around.

Wait, wheres Emily?

Brian points down the chasm, though it quickly closes sealing her down there. Ellen sighs as she turns to the others.

I need to go check on Emily, you guys go on ahead. Ill try to get her out and come help as soon as possible.

Ellen floats down as brian sits down and takes out some potions and motions the others to come over.

I got some drinks to help restore energy if you guys would like some. It ain't magical, just natural herbs and ingredients, so you can drink it too michael. Old family recipe.

He uncorks one and takes a swig.

I suggest we take a moment to rest, and press on.

Agnar grabs one and hands it to Mikkel

I'm still fresh. I don't get tired by battles like these. Too little resistance. Helps a bit with the runes my sword got.

[Jack Teach]

The priest takes one, jack reaches inside his frock coat and pulls out a bottle.

This is only thing I need.

He drinks some of it in gulps, he then passes it to the priest who takes a swig. He offers it to Brian

[Meliva]

Brian shakes his head.

I'm good. My drink has a fair amount of wine in it, helps make it taste sweeter and less like dirty water.

Carl takes a few swigs and gets up, Brian grabs his mace and shield and marches onward, deeper into the cave. It goes deeper and deeper, and the air gets colder. Finally it leads into a very large chamber. Theres frost everywhere, but he doesn't see any undead. Then an ear piercing shriek is heard and the spectre floats in glaring red eyes staring at the group. The spectre then begins to speak its a very cold angry voice.

We will not be denied our revenge. And those who get in our way will die. Why do you trouble us so? This does not concern you.

[Jack Teach]

The priest steps forward

The killing of inocents is our concern. We will not abide it.

[Meliva]

The spectre just laughs.

And what makes you think these people are innocent? Have you talked to any of them? Or did you know the pastors here personally? But even if they were innocent, they should have known better then to try to get in our way. We will have Gasp. It shall be a city of death. If you leave now, and get the people to leave, I will spare you and them. But stand against me and I will slaughter you, and every soul in this port.

The spectre seems to be getting bigger. Carl thinks he hears something as he notices undead are beginning to rise from the floor, He turns and see's the way out is gone, and several passages open to reveal more undead. The spectre laughs even louder.
