Can Vudu eat the cake and still have it?

Feniks bought 60P Sotls with his credit card the 100th time and wasnt careful at all so we took them all. We got 5 fleets, 12 Sotls, 5 of them with 60p or very close (I hope they are all in the market) using 3 hns, 3 ffjs, 6-7 ambush, 19 levi (where not necessary), a disfavor and some fire ships.
Anyone that knows plundering a little knows it means that feniks was extremely careless and anyone with some math skills knows that we made a hefty amount of profit.

So remember what Vudu keeps telling traders? "you are not careful so we plunder you", one of them even offered to open a traders training school to teach them how to be more careful... So you would think Feniks would have been thankful for getting that lesson on how a pirate should be careful with his ships of the line... he should be thankful like those traders should be... right?

But no, Vudu decided they will retaliate with sabos and assassins talking profanity in PMs etc.... Sabos and assassins are a skill less response of whiners so Merc did not resort to that end last war (even though that was the Vudu way last war as well)

I am expecting some Vudu members to response and say that it was the act of individuals and not of or by the guild. but as Merc takes responsibility to our members action so should Vudu. Last war started when Vudu decided to defend its members even though Merc agreed to see their actions on an individual level obviously that doesnt work for them either.

But you would expect nothing less from Merc. attack a nation for a PvP, guildvP, or guildvguild action.

You hit me......good on you. I didn't complain to daddy. I gather some guild members and retaliated. There were four of you that conducted the raid. There were four of us that retaliated. That is exactly how it is supposed to go. As far as the cards cast? Well nothing that you haven't done to us in the past. Just like Merc/VUDU war. You went straight to nation cards. pulling in members of other guilds who had no dog in the fight.

You thought what was cast today was over the top? Wait for round 2.

As far as what was cast. Add up the relative value of what was taken and what it cost from a retaliation perspective. It seems you still came out on top. as far as the math goes. You have 1800 credits worth of voodoo coming yet.

I believe your comment to Shadow was something like "I dont see why he thought he had to retal". So your opinion is there should be no retaliation. If that is the case then you should be against TKP's stated intent of retaliation. I retaliated like all traders should.

The fact that you are so upset about the retaliation actually proves my point even more. If all traders retaliated like I did today, there would be more moderate piracy. People would tread much more lightly.

Your intent was to denigrate my/our arguments against TkPs proposed actions, but your outrage over the retaliation actually makes our point for us.

I got a list of about 10-15 50-60p sotls held by vudu and there are more if i will take a better look. but i wont destroy them but take them and sell back to you like i always do. if i do get upset then be sure I will use the Sabos merc hold to make sure Vudu dont have any ship above 45p and the same amount or so in assassins to make sure no vudu member have one captain above 250. but we are not mad yet so we will just drink your milkshake.

As for hitting UK, that will be purely to make you learn how to avoid using profanity when talking to me or anyone else in this game. I know you will buy credit to buy more TI from me so you can max pop again so other members wont feel a thing (and if they do then they have to choose their friends better).

not sell them to me. I don't buy sotl. I have bought lmm and trade galleons, but not sotl. Not in over 6 months.

I state things as I see it and draw my path so you and others will know the costs in actions you take. Sabos and assassins are not a form of retal I will accept but even vs pure damage tactics we chose so far to redistribute vidvudui wealth back to us.
