Ok its about getting moderation in piracy, lets take a time machine and ask Blackbeard if he is willing to tone it down a bit... No Quarter Given was an expression for a reason. Pirates didn't say, "Oh hello good sir, I see you were attacked by another pirate recently so I will leave you be!"

In other words, Avonmora is now a fascist state ruled by a very small group who determines the rules for all of Avonmora.

Exactly what we are saying to these traders running large unprotected fleets. If you are getting pummeled then you need to fix it. That is not my problem.

Actually, what is laughable is this whole thread that starts out denigrating the newly formed guild that was founded by one of the most diplomatic and generous players in the game.

Founded on the interest of multiple nations idea of ruling and limiting actions from gameplay up to free speech.

I am not sure why you are referring to unprotected fleets.
We are talking about a different matter.
Examples:

Attacking innocent players affiliated with the player retaliating against a pirate attack.
Casting voodoo on one player several days in a row to the point that their looses are too large.

Unprotected fleets are not an issue here. I will agree with you in that I’d you are not providing at least a tail cutter then you are beyond hope. But this was never about it. This is about making people hate the game and quit because some pirates don’t know where to stop.

IRL this is called terrorism. Players are being terrorized out of the game because some players are having too much fun. This does not benefit the game at all. All we want is to remind pole that there is a way to play the game and have fun with everyone with a few getting upset here and there and then there is the I will make everyone’s life a living hell because I can which we are standing up against.

Yes but the premise of the guild itself is a joke. Instead of training those that feel overly targeted, you offer your "protection" and retaliate for them.

That is completely the opposite of what good leadership should be. Nothing has changed with the traders except daddy is now protecting them instead of them being able to protect themselves.

This whole thing may be over in a week, 2 weeks or a year, who knows, but it will all happen again because the leadership of the so called "training guild" fail to properly train.

All you have done is train them to be further dependent on you.
