Role-Play- A Step Forward

[Meliva]

Several deep growling noises and a few roars can be heard In the hut. Emily looks to raven.

Well, a couple real big and nasty demons, some sort of slime abomination, and a giant rat. That voodoo was some real powerful and nasty stuff. And I haven't even got through half of the pile yet. Its all still in there though. But truth be told, I'm not very eager to head back in. Not until I have a good plan that is.

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks over

How do they like holy objects?

[Meliva]

Emily shakes her head.

I really wouldn't try it. These are pretty big demons, and while a holy object would hurt them it wouldn't do crap against that slime or rat. Right now though they all are bottled in that hut with no way out. Although I don't hear the rat anymore, and the sounds have died down a bit since they all came out, so I think they were actually killing each other. Not sure what's still in there now though. Probably either the slime or one of the demons. I'm feeling better, so if we all are ready I can open the hut up and we can rush in and try to kill whatever's left.

Emily walks over to the door as Ellen prepares her rosary and morning star. Emily quickly touches the door and swings it open. As they rush in the hut is a complete mess. bits of rat meat and slime are everywhere, one of the demons is just a bloody puddle and the other is on the ground incredibly damaged. Emily relaxes seeing that the only living thing is the single demon and its barely alive. She quickly warns the others.

Be careful of the slime-its pretty corrosive and can burn you. But it looks like we just need to finish off this fella and then its all taken care of.
Emily walks forward carefully, knife drawn with Ellen behind her, the demon holds up a hand and says in a weak voice.

wait, please. I can make you a deal, I have knowledge you need. Without it you will be too late.

Emily stops as she thinks it over. She looks to the other. Ellen violently shakes her head no. Though emily responds.

I don't trust demons, but still I am curious why all this dangerous voodoo was being gathered by Kitani.

[Jack Teach]

Jack runs forward behind her.

NO NO, STOP, NOT GOOD. What are you doing?


Jack says the last bit rather drunkenly and slurred.

Number one rules of demons is: YOU DON'T EVER TALK TO THEM. They're liars, and tell only lies, they don't want deals, they want your soul!

Emily grabs hold of Jack and speaks in a calm tone.

Jack, I've dealt with demons a few times before. Simply talking to them wont hurt you if you make a few precautions and don't blindly trust them.

She points down to the ground, a large circle is around the demon and It glows a slightly.

That demon Is stuck in that circle, and it cant use magic on us. So unless we enter the circle we are safe. And yes, this demon is probably just going to lie to try to save its skin, but I'm still curious as to what it claims to know. Now just relax okay.

She quickly speaks to Ellen quietly and the sisters nod. Emily turns to the demon.

I promise if you tell me what you know I wont kill you.

The demon smiles and says the source of the voodoo is located in a tower north of Kanoni. Emily smiles. She turns to her sister, who takes out her morning star and begins to pray. The demon looks to Emily and shouts.

You said you wouldn't kill me.

Emily nods.

Well I never said my sister wouldn't.

Ellen smashes the demons head in. And begins to smash the rest of it into pieces. She puts some holy water onto them and buries them.

Alright then. Guess our next stop is Kanoni.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods

Alright, maybe that type... but any other type should not be engaged in conversation...


Jack goes off to prep his ships.
