Royal Fortune responds, saying they should attack. Roberts ships near the galleons flying Spanish colors.

Frank sails alongside Roberts as he fly's the Spanish flag as well. The trade galleons sail to meet them thinking they may be Spanish navy ships. Frank has his men prepared to board as he waits for Roberts to make the first move.

The Royal fortune fires a warning shot at one of the Spanish ships. A black flag is raised, depicting a man holding a sword standing upon two skulls, one has the letter AMH written under one skull, the other ABH under the other. From the foremast another flag is raised, depicting a man and a skeleton holding an hourglass. Roberts goes to the bow.

The crew on the galleons are for some strange reason unafraid, in fact they look more annoyed then anything. The captain shouts at them to just do as Roberts says. The captain then shouts to Roberts.

Caught us at a bad time I'm afraid. most of our cargo is already plundered. Got hit by pirates just yesterday. Mostly just have food and water left.

Some of Frank's men have already begun searching one of the galleons and come back saying all they could find was food and water.

The captain just sighs and just waves his hand to his ship.

Like I said. Those pirates yesterday took just about everything but some food and water. You can search the ship if you want. Take the food and water if you want it. We can stop by a port nearby to get more. But I can't magic up gold or cargo out of thin air. Other then that, only thing I can think of is for you to take one of our ships, but they have no cannons-pirates took those off us. They were pretty damn thorough. If you want I can tell you where those pirate went. They robbed us of a very large gold bar shipment. our escorts were all killed off by a storm before they could meet us, so we had no way of stopping them.

Frank says to Roberts.

Well we could try going after those other pirates. If he's telling the truth and these ships were loaded with bars it would be a huge profit. Plus i wouldn't feel right kicking a group of men who are already down in the dirt already. But its up to you.

Tell us, maybe I'll catch up with him.

roberts turns.

I came here for mouhgals, not pirates, it's not honorable. the mouhgal merchantmen are slow and profitable, Id rather chase them instead of fellow gentleman of fortune.

Frank shrugs.

Well we might not have to fight them. Hell maybe they might invite us for a party and share the wealth. You never really know. Thing with us pirates is we seem to come in quite the array. We got ruthless killers, gentlemen pirates, lady pirates, merciful pirates, and even idiotic pirates.

Frank laughs pointing to himself. He looks to the captain of the trade fleet. He says the pirates headed further east, and their flag had a red skull with a dagger jammed in the right socket and the left having a gem in it. Said they called themselves the Xian Raiders. Think they came from china, but not sure. Frank thanks him for the info and gives them some spare food and rum.

Have a good trip fellas, and be sure to have plenty of loot for us to steal next time alright.

Frank laughs as he waves them off. He turns to Jack.

You ever deal with a Chinese pirate before?

Rorberts scowls

No. They'll most likely be sailing junks and using some outdated weaponry.

chines pirates never used jolly rogers, and no such Jolly Roger exists.

Its one I just made up and this RP while meant to be realistic doesn't have to match real life 100%. Like I said in the first post a few embellishments and deviations is fine. The Xian raiders are just going to be a sort of mish mash of Chinese and European pirates. With some of the crew being Chinese and some being European. I think it will be interesting.
