Willie nods.

Alright, you are a pyscho loon, thanks for confirming it.

Abigale slams a table and shouts.

Bloody hell stop bickering. We should be relaxing and unwinding after a hard fight. Jack, its highly likely those drunk men were Vaasburg sailors. I noticed a few would shirk off their ships and hide in other ships and get drunk, often even wearing similar clothing to the other crews to slip by. And rylon, killing men for DRINKING is far too harsh. That won't instill respect and discipline but fear. If I was a young sailor and my captain executed someone for DRINKING, I would be leaving rather quickly to find a new, less blood thirsty captain before I made a minor slip up and get killed next.

A storm is brewing outside, not enough to do any damage, but it does make fighting harder on the deck
Just describing the weather, no, the port will not flood and sea monsters won’t climb out

Rylon spats on the floor
And does fear not control the men best?

Rylon’s squire, Raven, looks a bit troubled by Rylons actions and whispers
The lord sire wasn’t like this before....something isn’t right....

Executing someone for just getting drunk yes it would be, but killing a man for endangering every man aboard, I think not. I would like to respond to your last point by saying that the most successful captains are in a way, feared and respected. My crew really like me, but they're absolutely terrified of what'll happen to them if they rebel.

the priest looks troubled at rylon, he puts a hand on his shoulder

Now now mate, calm down for a minute.

Willie shakes his head.

You youngins need to learn a important lesson in moderation. It is true a certain amount of fear is good for a leader to have to his crew, as well as likability and respect. but if your feared far more then liked, they may look for a new captain, and being incredibly feared also hurts recruiting new men. If you go and execute a few men just for being drunk before a battle thats going too far. A whipping and serving as cleaning crew for several months is punishment enough for a first offense.

Willie looks to Rylon cautiously. Abigale also is prepared just in case. Willie speaks first.

mate you need to calm down, don't do anything stupid alright.

I'm not feared more than I'm respected and liked, they're all equal. The reason I'm feared is because I decide what punishment to inflict based on the code. The men love me, but they know the punishments for breaking the code and that is why they fear me! Onboard my ship, each new recruit signs my articles telling them the rules and what will happen if they break them, mostly the punishment is flogging, but the greater the offense, the greater the punishment!

As the fleet docks in Akrotiri Bernard goes to take care of all the supplies. Abigale says to everyone.

We should all head back to our own ships, and be prepared to leave and hit the leader's island. We can set sail in about an hour.

Abigale and the nuns join Quinton on his flagship Frigate as Veera still has their cutter, Bernard after finishing restocking the supplies goes on Jack's Brig, and Willie takes back control of his frigate since his men demanded Jack leave due to him accusing them of being drunk, which none of them were. The drunken men were found to be Vaasburg sailors pretending to be part of Willie's crew to get off work. They were severely beaten first by Willie, then Quinton, then locked in the brig until they were returned to Vaasburg.

The fleet leaves and begins heading to the hidden island. After 3 days of sailing, they are within the vicinity of the island. Abigale along with the other nuns quickly begin using a much faster and easier version of the ritual they used in Regis to dispel any magic nearby, and the island appears in the far distance. With the enemy thinking they are still hidden the fleet moves in closer, and then fires a huge volley obliterating all enemy ships and defenses. Quinton orders several ships to land and to storm the hideout. He also begins launching deep charges into the water all over the place killing anything hiding under the waves. He orders a few groups of men to be prepared to fire the harpoon guns to kill any sea monster that may come nearby. The nuns continue using their prayers and rituals to cancel out any voodoo the enemy might try to use.

Rylon’s ship sends out several smaller vessels to board the island, each filled with 20 men

Jack and his men storm the beach, weilding cutlass, pistol and boarding pike. They run toward the hideout, looking terrifying despite their young age. Jack leads them, still dressed extremely gallantly, waving his cuttlass in the air. They cut down everything in their path, not loosing a single man, as the whole attack was a surprise. Fr. Avery runs with the men, but he carries only a stick in which to block sword blows.
