I do not know how SSTG structured things, but it sounds more like what a true training guild should be like.

SSTG had uniqe way of training as far as I am familiar with other training guilds. And yes it was truly training guild but some people could not stand that so they kept attacking and attacking.

I know it is a sore spot. Honestly though, I learned more by being targeted than any guild/person taught me.

Can you really develope and learn things if you have 0 time to incorporate what you learned from being targeted because you are constantly targeted and farmed. It gets boring and often ends up in quitting game

Kind of off the rails a bit here, but who bears the responsibility in that scenario? Not all on the attackers. It is up to trainers as well. We attacked Helm, Lodswe, Lana and others in leadership used it as a training mechanism and gave out as good as they were given. That was the genesis of both PRO and dman. You can ask them but it seems it helped them dramatically.
I would think that if SSTG was truly an all encompassing training guild, several members would be capable of the same. Attacks are part of the game as well. Attack once and it is a walk through, you tend to go back and hit again. The difference between SSTG and Helm was that helm got tougher and tougher. They learned quickly. I imagine it had something to do with the leadership.
Not saying hitting people over and over again is good or bad, I was farmed several times when I was in Helm. I finally got sick of it and found someone to teach me. It is a game. It is not simulation game where you simply click an icon and the game plays itself.
