Unfortunately, I missed the golden age of Pirates Glory and made my entrance just around the end of it.
The politic was very weird with a player called The Pirate King, a Guild called the PK and another guild call ZomB that the Pirate King led. They were at war with each other and somehow, HELM was in the mix as well. Nations were a separate politic altogether with all these guilds having memberships in all port controlling nations.

Golden Age of Barbados you mean.

There were few nations on the map, and Barbados had 13 or more ports and was moving for them all. Spain was the only potential contender held by one solid Boot at the time with 4-5 ports. Thats the political side of nations then.

As for TPK and the two pirate guilds going at it.. they did have a good go and before that TMN was another noteworthy bout. However I hardly call TPK's time the golden age. TPK was the biggest farce right from the get go. Several pirates worked under him that are noteworthy to this day, but the majority are and were not anything mentionable.

Aye ;), he always did think himself the god of PG.

To bad he chose to threaten the wrong few new players as they joined the game. :D

He did have a bad habit of sending new players a note saying "Join us or Die" or some such drivel. Definitely true leadership skills IMO
