It was a tough call. CDV made things extremely tight in my mind. What he did in such a short period is unreal.

Shadow has had impact in every area of game play though.

This was a very tough decision, but after thinking it through my vote goes to PK, due to his commitment to diplomacy and helping other players. Shadow and CDV both made a lot of personal accomplishments, but I think the award should go to the player who helped others more then themselves and that would be PK. Though my congrats to all the nominees. They all are amazing players. cheers on a good year

My vote goes to CDV.

He has acheived some incredible feats in many aspects of gameplay. Starting off this year as a massive merchant, swtiching gears to his massive effort to clean the seabed, followed his sudden switch to plundering.

I found watching his pursuit of excess very entertaining.

My vote also has gone to CDV .... he mostly flies under the radar as he goes about his business but for the reasons Will has already mentioned, I think he would be a worthy player of the year recipient.

CDV was one of my mentors when I joined the game nearly 1800 days ago. I never thought I would see the day when I get nearly as much votes as him. His achievements and impact in the game cannot be denied.
