VUDU vs. MERC - Ceasefire Treaty

After extensive negotiations, both VUDU and MERC finally agreed to a ceasefire.

On day 1942 of Avonmora, MERC and VUDU agree to the following terms:

This treaty is valid for 30 days.

1. Voodoo clause
1.a All currently active voodoo casts shall be removed within 24 hours
1.b for a period of 30 days, neither party shall cast any voodoo on the other under any circumstances and in any form. This includes friendly and undercover voodoo.

2. Proxy player clause
2.a VUDU agrees to not assist proxy players in general and Xpro in particular against MERC
2.b MERC agrees to not assist proxy players against VUDU.

3. Penalty clause (per incident)
3.a. Individual violations are reported by one guildmaster to another for a resolution within 48 hours. The expected resolution is that on proof of guilt, the guilty individual is expelled from the guild.
3.b. If the resolution is not agreed upon, both parties agree to resort to a neutral 3rd party for mediation with the intent of accept the verdict.
3.c. The verdict against the violating guild from the resolution shall be a minimum of 50 million gold coins and not exceed 250 million gold coins, their equivalent in credits or combination of both. The guilty party shall pay the agreed upon amount via the neutral party to the victim.

I want to thank PHX for being the middle man on this. I truly believe that without his effort this whole thing would not have gotten anywhere.

I also want caution any player or nation from future dealings with MERC. I think they have shown Avonmora their true colors during this conflict.

Regarding the WAR. I do want to give some Props to MERC and PP. They are a formidable foe. If they ever figure out 100% how to fight, they will truly be a force to reckon with.

Also, I do believe this to be one of the longest wars on record, if not the longest. To that I tip my hat to both MERC and VUDU. It was awesome and fun. And the forum war was one of the best parts. (over 6500 views!)

Congrats on an agreeable resolution. My one question is, what happens if xPROx does not abide by the ceasefire and continues to cause disruption ?
I have not yet figured out how to deal with that problem when he and Sidekick Taylor was casting on Ayes and Spain

Pro is not a member of VUDU and as such we cannot control his actions. VUDU has agreed to not help aid PRO should he choose to cast on MERC.

I have an agreement with Xprox and MERC. For the duration of this treaty, he agrees to also not cast on MERC as long as they do not cast on him
