Ellen has finished knitting a nice little scarf, as she speaks to the Governors family. The governor is apparently expecting a visitor and is holed up in his study nearby. Ellen keeps an eye on the door into it, curious as to who he is meeting with. Night time is slowly beginning to approach, and the Governors wife Matilda takes her children to bed. Ellen decides to stay up a while longer and goes back to knitting while singing a little hymn. Always keeping one eye on the study door. An orphan comes in escorted by a guard, he hands her a note, she quickly reads it, and hands it back. Thank you Timmy, make sure to dispose of it. Timmy nods and quickly eats it, and runs off. That's certainly one way Ellen thinks to herself. Its nice to know William has a plan though. She continues waiting and watching the doors.
