New patch of voodoo cards

yea changed it, that makes more sense then having it for 10 turns.

This card is uncommon so there are less in circulation then hostile natives. But it could be changed to common because purify and serenity are way better yet in the same category. If moved down to common it would cost more tuns then a HN so that attackers have some advantage.

As Zombie_Jesus pointed out in another forum, the odds against pirates are already incredibly high and further pushing the scale in favor of merchants will be catastrophic. The cards are good idea, but throw the scale 10 to 1 against.

I like the idea, although I think the gold amount should be a percent relative to the players gold, and how much danger they are looking to remove. Also, there is already a card called Hideout so how will this card counteract/balance with hideout? Either remove the card hideout, or remove this suggestion because we can't have both. I would go with removing or modifying Hideout to fit this.

I love this card idea, my hr with wales would take 2years to come close to zero (if im not misunderstood). My only critique here is that the turn cost is relative to the amount of hr. So lets say you have 100 hr with Antigua and Barbuda, the turns needed to remove 50% of that hr is 25% of the hr you have with that nation, which means it will cost you 25 turns, to remove 50% of the hr.

Great for an anti-voodoo god curse but can also be turned around to be used against players who don't have much voodoo. I think the handicap idea will work out here and that another handicap of only allowing you to cast like 2-3 a day on a player, this doesn't mean that other people can't cast them though.

Description: Allows a player to have a port for a day and he get's the trade benefits.

Amount of Turns needed: 15

Sounds good, but then we also have to look at how serenity already do this also. How are these cards going to "get along" with serenity?

im thinking of more cards for pirates so having these 2 will offer another alternative to using purify and serenity. This will mean that there are more cards to stop voodoo. But they all wont be as versatile as purify and serenity.
