Meant for taking fewer defends and increasing profit at the end of a few short-term battles or long drawn out raids. Not meant for casual plundering, just a slight profit and ratio booster.


That can be achieved via 3 Hideouts at a better ratio and more profit. Your card will only have potential for more profit and less defenses if you complete a large specific amount of attacks before taking a single defense. For example if you don't defend after the first 4, you would need to do another 7 (total of 11) to have the max number of attacks with the least number of defenses per danger gained.


If you are plundering max attacks per each defense (normal 3:1), with your card you would be alternating between 4:1 and 3:1 for each defense and would require 63 battles with 18 defenses to have an equal profit versus casting 3 hideouts, after that point your card would have a greater ratio and profit margin per defense.

250k limit, piracy tech level 20, that's 320k.

And you can easily make more, just make the right ship lose a level

I ran a very simple simulation of 18 attacks for the current method, your card, and using 3 HIDEOUT. I ran the simulation using danger calculations where a defense action occurred if the danger rating for the next attack would raise the danger to over 20. Each attack gained 250K and each defense lost 50k.

Current:
18 Attacks @ 250k = 4500k
6 Defends @ -50k = -300k
Total Earnings = 4200k

SDKs Card:
18 Attacks @ 250k = 4500k
5 Defends @ -50k = -250k
Total Earnings = 4250k

3 HIDEOUTS
18 Attacks @ 250k = 4500k
3 Defends @ -50k = -150k
Total Earnings = 4350k

pointless to add market cost when the proposed card has no value set for itself. but if it worked out that it was added i would venture the proposed card to sell for 20 to 25 while we could debate the value of the card its pointless the test would have to be strictly on performance since there are not two values to compare

Ok, if I did, it definitely wouldn't be worth it. The difference in profit is miniscule. Even if your card was worth half of HIDEOUT, the added cost would make not using it more profitable, even with the extra defense.
