Deliberately losing battles. That's definitely one way to do it. I wouldn't see an issue with using that technique as long as the battle wasn't arranged. If deliberately losing a battle was against the rules, merchants would have to put cannons on their fleets. BUT as you said, the final say belongs to the admins.

Don't know why you are facepalming. I wasn't being sarcastic in my statement. Losing a level via battle and releveling can return a positive result in attribute points.

Recent example.....

lvl 10 60 att Sotl sunk by levis. Wreck hunt brought it up. When leveled back to 10 it was a 66 att.

This example was not an intentional one, but it happens.

I was facepalming at the arranged battles part. You are correct about it all, just was laughing about arranging battles. Don't need to ;)

Yeah, you can just hunt for NPCs and remove your cannons. No need to attack other players at all.

Actually cheaper to buy the MC card

upgrade to lvl 10 around 3 mill and may or may not increase att.

MC card 23-26 cr. 5 mill

The cheapest way is keep it at level 2, then when it lowers to 1, level it up. Then when it gains enough ATT, raise it up to 10. But it is a gamble. Your just as likely to lose ATT as you are to gain it.
