I think he thought you were saying a player couldn't be top level by spending. He is just saying if you have skill and a wallet you can get top level pretty fast.

Well you cant be top level by spending alone. All the assets and resources in the world are not very useful if you don't know how to use them efficiently. Though just because your a spender doesn't mean your incapable of strategy and playing efficiently. And spenders are definitely needed to support this game.

Can I adopt this as our official declaration? :)

I read your post to indicate that you can spend what you will but it wont indicate you are a top player.
That logic is completely flawed, thus my post, thus me quoting you.

If my reading of the intimation of your post is inaccurate I'd very much like to hear what you did mean

That's pretty much exactly what I was stating, ta

1+0 =1, but 1+1 = 2, 2 > 1

Some have money to buy credits. Others don't. This is like any other game.
People who don't have money call people who do cheats. This is the same regardless where you play.
People who have money don't care and will spend it any way. Also true.
Games need money to survive. Also true.
People spending money contribute more to game survival: Yes.
Admin can make everything for money: Yes, they just don't

Summary: You will do whatever you want and can in light of what admin will allow.

Yes, cash isn't king, but to toss away the argument completely is poor. Cash does provide an advantage. Honestly don't know how we even got to that topic. I appreciate that there are those that spend money in this game, as I don't and likely won't ever. I just don't put money into online games anymore. However, to tout the advantage that cash gives as greatness is something only a weasel would do. Cash doesn't make you great. Buying large voodoo chests doesn't make you great. What you do with what you have, and how you do it, is what will make a player great.

As for the "cheater" comments, I won't continue on with them per your request. However, someone who cheated will always be a cheater. If the player behind Vane didn't want to be associated to his previous account, he should have made efforts to prevent associations to those accounts. That's his own fault, and from his own comments seem proud of his past action. The account maybe different and he may not be cheating now, but the player is the same.

DoS/Trump did bring up an interesting point. Players don't fear Vane, they fear his cash supplied voodoo chest. I really don't like using the word fear, as I find that it isn't really fear. Only a person who is full of themselves would think that players fear them. Most players are smart enough to know that taking on a player that has large amounts of resources to include voodoo may not fair well, especially if they don't have the resources to compete. As CJ said, there are players that that haven't spent any cash that can easily hold their own against players like Vane. Their resources are extensive. But I suspect that most players don't.

Also, don't know why my name was mentioned in regards to being hit. Yeah, I got hit and pretty hard, but so what. It's a game. I'm not complaining or leaving it because I got hit. While I'm taking a break from thorough game play, I'm still going to play and be on the forums, while I figure out what my approach will be when I rebuild.

I'm only on this forum topic to agitate and instigate Vane and his buddies. If you don't think it worked, look at how long this topic is now and the fact that other players (Feniks) jumped in to talk smack.

I personally am not agitated or feel like I am being instigated by you. You came into the other thread which then spun off into this one complaining. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the war. In fact, I feel like we made more friends than enemies throughout the process. All in all, it was an overall enjoyable experience. Of all the flavors, you are the one who has chosen to be salty.

Weren't instigated but needed to post?

You have no room to talk about someone being Salty. Look at your own situation. Started a war with another nation over a feeling and a nation forum post about a port that you no longer possessed, because the UK was previously hit. That's being salty. You guys carry butthurt for at least 3 weeks and think you have any room to say that someone else is butthurt for trying to thwart your shenanigans against their nation and fellow countrymen.
