This is very interesting indeed! I like this draft :)) I read the others, but it is so different watching them live!

I know you are correct Slindur. Any one of the fine Ladies leading this draft will certainly come out the other side looking far better than any of us old barnacle encrusted sea dogs could ever hope for.
What I wanted to do was point out that this wonderful spectator sport devised by Shadowood is not a cake walk for those who are tasked with choosing a competitive team. I think you have to be there to understand the difficulty that comes with the responsibility.
As there is no definitive gold standard for choosing the winning team, in the end it comes down to the summation of the team each captain chooses and then the voting that follows. Strategy is way down on the list of factors that define the winner.

I agree Stan. The best sales pitch will win in the end.

I agree with exception to the part that Strategy is way down the list. You can build a team that has the firepower of a MoW but if you don't have the players that put it and keep it together, you will sink. Picking strategically can and does make a difference.

Welcome on board Dozer.

After 6 and a half rounds it is clear (to me) that team Trixi and team Monty are head to head for 1st place and team Meliva is holding the third spot pretty comfortably.
