So, Vane has threatened collateral damage against innocent members of my guild. If he were acting in his own interests as a pirate, that would be one thing. Despicable, yet at least it's piratey. However, because he has publicized quite loudly that he is acting on behalf of and in the interests of the UK, I feel as if I should have the right to attack any UK member I want if Vane attacks me directly or causes me to be attacked (again, I might add, as I was attacked over the weekend). I'm a trader and live a quiet life on the seas. I don't have much in the way of an attack fleet. I know that I cannot do anything more than a mosquito's worth of damage to Vane should he turn his sights on me. However, I am quite certain that if I am provoked, I can find someone who is allergic to my little sting.

Vane, you have a target; one who has admitted to committing the acts you are so proudly defending the honor of the UK against. I would hope that those in power in the UK would put a leash on you and curtail your actions on their behalf. If there is intentional collateral damage towards members of my guild because you are acting like a petulant, spoiled child and bullying those weaker than you just because you can, then all of Avonmora will know that you have lied through what's left of your teeth and that you are not acting on behalf of the UK but are using it as an excuse to ransack your way through innocents who have no chance of retribution. You will likely have caused inexperienced players to leave the game, as recovery from this attack may feel nigh impossible and it would leave a general impression that the powerful players are bullies who pick on the weak, and no one wants to be a newer player under those circumstances in any game. So I call upon the strong and powerful in all the guilds and all the nations to decide for themselves what is right and what is wrong and act accordingly.

You "traders" are puppets, turn mules, and pocket casters of voodoo. Do not come up in here crying about being innocent in anything. That is absolute poppycock. By allowing the so call perpetrater to be in HELM you are aiding and abetting. The UK has no interest in curtailing Vane as we have been under siege for weeks. Our ports have been destroyed so now we will destroy those who have destroyed us.

Let it be known that anyone that flies the HELM banner as long as GoH is a member of HELM is not safe from any action from the UK, hell you might now be safe even with GoH gone.

There is a code I stand by, we only raid players (not for ships but coins) who have played more than 60 days. We only raid a player once per 6 days. I have been changing piracy for the better of all. Its been a work in progress, but its coming along. The code extends to several articles and protects those not able to withstand or recover from a light hit.

Now there is also a clause in this code... you slight me and I'll come after you by any means at my disposal.

Someone hits the UK repeatedly, thats how I was slighted. Code goes out the window. The attacker remains anonymous, so by any means at my disposal means targeting anyone else if need be and I have been left with no other choice. If the attacker steps forwards, he can be the savior of Avonmora and I will turn my attention to him.


If no one would have pissed me off, I would have been content skirmishing away and causing little to no damage to anyone.

My actions are simply "reactions" to a cowardice plot where I have been left with little options.

The actions taken against the port holding nations of Avonmora wasn't done by a single perpetrator. Multiple ports have been struck with Black Death and Conspiracies. The cowards who performed these acts do so because they don't have to show their face. They use the guise of undercover voodoo to attack, while hiding in plain site thinking that their actions won't be held accountable. A bully in the shadows.

Now all of sudden, someone has chosen on their own to find out who they are and he is in the wrong, and is being a bully. If you think that, your moral compass is so jacked up, I'm shocked you can find the forums.

As for your buddy GoH, I don't believe him for a second that he actually cast the voodoo. Want to man up and take the blame, prove it. Post your voodoo log. I think he admitted to it to cover for those that actually did it, or to prevent some of his friends who don't want to say anything to Vane from being hit.

As for Vanes actions having an affect on new players, I disagree that it will be negative. In actually, Vane is playing the game more inline to what real pirates of the time did than any other. Isn't that what the game is all about? As well, Vane or any other veteran player are not going to obliterate a new player to the point that they quit. Boo Hoo, Vane cast voodoo and plundered you. Rebuild, it isn't hard and both the game and good guildmates (if you are in a good guild) will help you out. Can't handle the heat, I guess you shouldn't have acted foolishly. If you didn't know better, than I guess you should of joined an experienced guild or listened to experienced players. In the end, all actions have consequences. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It is advisable that everyone distance themselves from The Iron Helm, outside of a few older members this guild has lost the respect of many and with it appearing to potentially be the source of the attacks against the UK, it will be getting worked over the coals for the foreseeable future.

I respect you Stan and I will do my best to walk the line but I think we have declared the intent very clear. We are not after Spain or Spanish ports as we do not believe that this was a nation fostered attack. We will attack any national that we deem to be a possible suspect or one who aids regardless of the flag they fly.

Before that, there was a huge question mark as to the targets selected and what effect it had on Spain and her interests.
