well deznutz could be construed as slang for these nuts, as in testicles, although there was a guy in south Carolina with that as an actual name

That is one of a million jokes all involving a malicious intent to joke about testicles where they normally have no place being discussed.
So im my opinion if you are going for a family oriented game then that is a name that invokes the wrong idea of what you represent as allowable on your site.

Personally, I believe this lies in ones pronunciation of the name.

If read as it is.. "DezNutz" is not the same thing or the same sound as Deez / Deeze / Deese etc....

While one "could" manipulate it into any form of vulgar language, how is that any different from someone with the last name "****"? It is quite a common one at that.

If it were a name a genuine name that did not include the picture of the guy who tells all the Deez Nutz jokes then it might possibly be explained away. However, I argued the same with the acronym TWAT being changed to TEWAT was a totally different acronym and was told it was similar therefore not allowed.
Seemingly then similar or related to is just as negative.
I also gave the same argument for Bigus Dickus as someone has to want to be offended to find offense in that.
