The only way that I think that it would work would be to have it as a voodoo curse. This is something that would upset balance if it was able to be done on a regular basis. Make it a voodoo card, and a player could use it from time to time for some of the reasons mentioned above (i.e. holiday/vacation, sleep, nation payout, etc.).

Otherwise, I am -1 for making it an additional game feature.

That would be a problem if you need to pull out funds from multiple sources to for example buy influence.

wouldn't that be exactly the same as it stands today. im just stating to have it deposit not withdraw becasue having it withdraw would cause the game to die.

Auto-deposit and auto-withdraw are defensive tools - we have ample available through voodoo curses.

I propose simply that the feature that shows a player with the largest personal treasury over 50 million be removed (or raised higher).

This will keep those mega-payments from treasuries being shown, and at the same time encourage players who wish to do so carry more gold coin in their personal treasury without fear of having the amount publically broadcast on the demographics page.

I think the 50mil limit on the demo page was a wrong move itself : in the past, much useful intelligence could be gathered by monitoring that feature : I'd favor a return to a much lower limit, 10 mil or so. Let's face it, few have to worry that much about mega-payout from their nation : as such are generally self-initiated these days due to the changes re: dukes proposing pay-out votes for other dukes, then it aint that hard to time pay-outs for your own convenient moment.

IMHO
Why place a limit? Why not just show at all times the top 10 players with the largest gc on-hand, minus the actual amount. Gives you targets but not how much they have.
