I voted Neutral at first, but I am in favor with reduction from 96 to 72 hours. 3 days I think is plenty long.

+1

I highly doubt this would help in a guild war with two decent guilds. It seems to be a targeted attack on pirates as they have less ships. It seems if people do not accept the trader vs trader some are pushing for it will be forced on us by making pirating unbearable and full of consequences. -1

Dman, I changed my vote because there are ways around this and I have found such. I am one of the only ones this specifically targets, and I am ok with it passing ;).

I intend on bringing newbs here. This is not newb friendly which means it does not promote their growth. I can see them easily made into targets just for some voodoo. I will halt my campaign for newbs I will not bring them to where I know it is to an atmosphere where after a 1000 turns they are taken advantage of.

avonmora is not a friendly place :)
yet newbies often get a far longer period of grace than the 1000 rules. only they realize it because they see a plunder attack as been taking advantage of because they lack the big ships etc. often the first time newbs are really taken advantage of is when they have bought a few SOL's and still lack the experience needed to protect them. at what point does a newb stop to be a newb?
my main problem with complaining newbs is that they refuse to behave like newbs but want to imitate the older players while they expect to be treated like newbs. you cannot have it both ways.

this proposal has nothing to do with newbs. it has to do with guilds

So we have to be carebears and ruin the fun for the rest of us to cater to noobs? They have 1000 turns to get plugged in with the right folks that can help them be successful. Also the juice is going to have to be worth the squeeze. I do not think noobs are going to get targeted as readily as you think. There are plenty of rare voodoo cards that are total garbage. They are going to have to have a reasonable enough voodoo chest for them to be targeted. I think all this does to help force some action with the vets.

LOL newbs are the future not the vets. It takes them to grow. Without them it becomes the stale atmosphere you are complaining about.
