Are you sure? Would you really notice if you got 2gc less for each gold bar?

Haron, this is not just about gold bars. Take resources needed for leveling buildings up or making gold bars. Thousands of resources that are worth millions. How much is OLoD is worth compared to destroying that!

But this has nothing to do with OLoDs affecting gold bars!

My comment are not just about gold bars.
True, gold bars are a big issue but it is not the only issue.

If I have a 500 Warehouse or higher with resources being collected for various hideout reasons, anything above level 10 will easily be worth 5-10 million in resources. 15% of that is nearly 1 million in 1 hit if we exclude gold bars. Add gold bars to the collective and then you have major inbalance. The damage will increase as the warehouse gets bigger.
No card should cause that much damage.

OLoD is a rare card. Meant to wreck havoc. Compare it to other rare cards like Assassin, Ambush or Call Leviathan. Surely those are just as dangerous, just in other ways? And Master Craftmanship, Expedition Journey and Bribe are very powerful positive cards? While Mindbar is powerful both defensively and offensively? I don't see OLoD matching any of these. Sure, it's bad against people with huge warehouses, but something should be, in my opinion. I only wish I could STEAL those resources instead of destrying them, but alas...

That I can agree with. Reduce the amount of damage and have the caster steal some or all into one of his or her warehouses is fine by me.

I just see that each time a trader or producer works out a way to minimise their risk, it gets deemed to be 'unfair' and that doorway gets closed off and so each and every step in the process gets loaded with risk because, well, the end product is so valuable and justifies that risk being loaded on it : but no-one arguing for that process seems to consider the cumulative effect of that risk-loading and the cumulative cost of loss in each step of the process : If you start a journey and every ten yards you toss a coin to decide if you can keep walking or you get smacked over the head with a brick.. you tend to stop walking at all. Especially when, if you duck to avoid the brick, some-one else comes along and kicks you in the arse for ducking. But, no worries, no doubt yet another will suggest that stopping walking is also 'unfair' avoidance of risk and should be punished too.

If game wants to survive it needs some sort of backbone for players with this effect that backbone is destroyed and with enough cards 1 player can drive other out of the game and that way hurting game itself...
