For reference, not all bug fixes make it in the changelog. I would say that 75% of the fixes, make it in the changelog. We will try to log them all from now on.

Surely this means, there is no safe way to have a 'backbone'?...

Tools/Gold bars can be destroyed via OFLD.
Bank's can be blacklisted, no tdestroyed but unable to use.
Treasure can be found

Does Rotten Food now act upon GB carried as cargo too : or was that not a bug or exception?

CJ, you ask why should it be an exception? The answer is simple, now knowing this no one will store gold bars in warehouses and gold bars trading will go down to slim pickings!

Additionally, with this declaration, a. Dozen casts on a warehouse will bring down a ware house to 15% of its content before the effect starts to get mild. This works horribly against large warehouses and is a very strong argument against it.
With this in mind I want to bring up a vote for reducing those cards effects either by reducing the effect, limiting the cast numbers and/or changing their rarity in the game.
It doesn't make s name that rotten foods now become a common card when it has such a devastating effect

Rotten food targets ship so its common rarity is justified.

For Official List of demands, it was meant to be a total disaster. Once upon a time, the only way to keep reserves was by storing goods to warehouses. With this card, you could zero your enemy by casting numerous lists against his warehouses. This has in fact been done in the past to zero a handful players (mostly pirates).

When Gold Bars came out, by mistake, they were ignored by the card. Just like Rotten Food now. This perhaps further reduced the value of Official list of demands. Although it already lost most of its value as after all, the original purpose of the card was lost with banks and treasure hunt. The most you can now do, is to wreck someone's shipwright enterprise. Although it will still not have huge affects as ships market are present.

We speak for a rare card here. If we also except Gold Bars, then this card will be significantly weakened.

This post reminds me how safe the environment has became to a point that a majority considers this as normal. This reminds me of a valid point raised by Danik yesterday.

CJ there was a different limit and need on warehouses back then. After the hideout the limitations changed to accommodate the building needs. 15% for a large warehouse now can be the equivalent of an entire old warehouse!
