only looked at your last link. and i agree, biased news is evil, reporters who are no longer neutral and reporting what happens, but take sides and create news are scary and dangerous.
and it is not only the media. also the scientific world is faking her profession more and more. fraud, plagiarism, assumptions based on assumptions brought as groundbreaking facts (e.g. in the dutch news: smart people has little need for social interaction which comes from their prehistoric role in hunter/gatherer societies) who can you believe nowadays?
in our strive for freedom from social restraints we eroded the foundation of it. ethics that guaranteed trustworthy news, honorable politicians and true scientific science are replaced by profit margins and self-aggrandizing.
fake news could not live long when the real news agencies were doing an ethical job. fake politicians would never be elected when honorable politicians set the political environment and fake scientist could not get away with their humbug when real scientist did their jobs.
but the bottom-line is that our western society has sold herself to an economic bottom-line. a "what's in for me" mentality! we, the common people, produce these kind of social, political, scientific leaders because it suits us. they are like us, only on a larger scale.
our western society is collapsing from the inside. if there is a conspiracy, then WE are the conspiracy! we allow this to happen. we allow that we are driven into polarized camps on issues that can easily solved by people of moderation and goodwill. we accept that we can manipulate others to our benefit. as long as we can live our lives in a reasonable luxurious way we don't want to think or to come out our complacency. who cares? let me just complain on a blog and accuse others and drink my coke light or eat my favorite comfort food.
the people on the other side of "our issues" are not the enemy, the media is not even our enemy, nor the politicians etc. it's our complacency and desire to 'live just like we want to' unhindered by old fashioned morals or ethics.
