My game, my rules buddy. ( I am on about raiding Merchants due to there ship protection is my game, not I own Pirates Glory )

They can have them in the fleet, I am not saying that. However I would like them to use Flag galleons like they use to.

With the Spanish Tech, they can be even stronger fleets then before.

Its very easy to attack a trader/merchant, and to have protection, its costly.

Its hard to "hurt" a pirate. Because of how cheap their ship is.

So, yeah.

"Unfair"

Next they will say that, there is more traders blah blah blah or traders make more then us blah blah blah.

You've heard it all before, obviously. Let's just say that it's a cost / benefit issue. Large merchants make tremendous amounts of gold. Yet, they are prone to attacks. As long as they are attacked only seldom, it's still worth it. Getting escorts are costly - at least REAL escorts. A trader has to be hit rather often to make escorts worth it. But perhaps that's the scale Avery is tipping here; attacking large traders enough to make using escorts worthwhile. Pirates make less gold, but hitting them is hard. Like I said: It's a cost / benefit issue.

I'm neither merchant nor pirate, though. I try to play the thankless role of the Naval Combat Solutions Provider.

Or it's an angle to get more desirable and valuable ships into the fleets of merchants to make raids on merchants more profitable.

Yeah, that's the main reason, really, because of the new, level lost cost % give money thing.

Jack say its going to get implemented last time, but, not sure let me check.

The loser must also pay a ransom equal to the 10% value of the base ship price that was last-positioned in the fleet that lost the battle.

OK, Avery wants us traders to have protection of some kind. Attention everyone...I have a Frigate in one of my fleets. Well, if I am to be honest, it might be more than one of my fleets that has a Frigate. But, I promise you, not all of my fleets have a Frigate in them..

I have to promise you if people light me up I usually clear the voodoo pretty quickly along with slapping them in the face witha. Confuse and a taxation and sometimes I might even add a black list
