The biography feature is now fully functional, at its V1.0

->To view your biography, click on your name at top menu and then at View my Biography at the right hand menu.
->To view the biography of any player, type his name at the top right search box and then click on his name. At the popup character window, click on the books biography icon at the far right.

An imminent improvement is the addition of a small navigation bar that will allow the visitor of a biography to switch between the Achievements and Biography screen with one click. We also are considering to create a small statistics page for each player where we will show off some of their statistics. Statistics such as the ones that appear on the bottom of the profile page and whatever else we find interesting.

We would like to further enrich the biography page. Currently, we list events such as:
-Join day
-Guild membership details
-Country Titles details

We could certainly add more and we are open to ideas. Perhaps we might be able to find this sort of info in the various games logs. If not, we can always start recording them. Better late than never.

It is worth to mention that we got the biography feature idea for a long time ago but this idea has been a stepping stone as it felt weird to create the idea above without the existence of a place where it can be displayed

is there a delay from when an event happens to when it is added to the biography? i am noticing some recent events that are missing from some biographies. for example, Reddington (#57262) joint [TOR] on day 1,497 yet this event is not on the biography like other guild changing activities. there are some other cases I have noticed where an event in the past couple of days is not on the list.

it is also a bit obnoxious in my opinion to post a new event on the biography for essentially repeat things. look at Jim Hawkins (#14972) for example - there are dozens of "has been named governor" events in a row for just changing ports, but nothing really new has actually happened. is there a way to control that and maybe just have one event saying you became a governor to keep it a bit cleaner?

Ideally, we would want to get rid of all the promotion details. This is something that we will eventually filter at a later day. There are many bios now that appear bad because of this. The best would be to have an entry like in guilds (ie Player X joined Bermuda). Then only mention King records as the rest are not as important. One mentioned to also log Governors but this would get too long.

We also need to incorporate some of the achievements into the biography, if not all.

At the end version, the biography page should record all important moments of a player's life. This includes major wins or defeats in sea battles. That's a bit hard to define but it is doable.

Turning Pirate is something we should log, certainly.

Yep, but just if you achieve a rank in that country. If I change from a Nation to another, but stay there as citizen, it'll not be scored. I think.
