Stan, the only reason you still have any sort of power in Spain is because I didn't push for getting you out of the upper council. I had triple your influence and did more for the nation in the time I was there, and you just say and let your influence go down, you allowed foreign nationals to play with you.

When we say you're arrogant and that you and the council of Spain have a blatant disregard for those "beneath" you, we have reason to say such a thing.

Also, you want to talk about small nation's fighting big ones and making a ruckus with Spain? I raise IoM and give u midway.

Spain seems to confuse "Avonmoras" acceptance of them as a nation, for their "Tolerance" of Avonmora...

I respect Spain as a nation, I just disagree with their leadership...

I'll say this to clarify:

Spain as a nation has earned great influence and respect among Avonmora citizens through their actions to date there is no question there. This is were the acceptance I speak of comes into play.

However, their words of late inspire much resistance to their presence in the future. Can a nation that speaks of "Tolerance" for the rest of the players be trusted I ask?

Tolerance will always meet resistance. If the Spaniards refuse to see the times are changing, and allow the personnel among their own, and those outside their ranks only the minimal grant of tolerance, we will continue to fight for our countries, acceptance must go both ways.

Manpower, ships, nor gold will not stop the onslaught of the right to mutual respect and acknowledgement of a new power.

Trust ? Ah, now there's a thing, aint it?

I think all we can trust is that all sides will argue their cause is truly just and the opposition is unworthy trash. Was ever the way, but lets not mistake it for any kind of truth or justice : it's playing games, with words as well as guns.

Truth takes no sides. Trust does. When you want honesty, it's going to be brutal.

You want trust? Someone's not gonna like it.

They say the pen is mightier than the sword.

I agree, mental scars last forever, a sword wound heals, and it's scar fades.

Just because I did not support your efforts to overthrow the King of Spain, I am much thankful for your allowance for me to remain in the Spanish council.

I didn't want to overthrow him. As soon as I realized everything I did to help Spain received no merit, little reward, I decided I would push for acknowledgement one last time.

I didn't get it, maybe because a "maybe I'll be king one day" comment in ATC discussion was interpreted as intent to claim a throne I didn't want.
