I think your history is a bit off regarding Man.. When Bigtea decided to take a port he hammered Capt Waz and took Psaral. During this same period he, William and myself joined Wales, at which point we controlled Tzogos and Psaral. When Bigtea fell under attack he felt being associated with Fox and Wales was not the best case, so he left and created Man. William and I didn't feel right with how things went down so we both gave Chalbaud a sizable amount of gc as to raise his influence to take Tzogos for Wales. Which worked for a bit.. Chal and Bigtea go into a spat and Bigtea used his money/voodoo/$90mil bounty to make Chal leave the game. Man returned to power there. At no point (That I am aware of) did we control GASP and at no point (that I am aware of) did Spain's "generosity" allow us to "relocate". I think your head is to big to see what really happend and I think you think to much of yourself as to why you think you allowed us passage.

In regards to generosity with Bermuda, yes you sold them a port. But it was I who lowered Valars Mindbar and 40 counters. And it was I who used over 60 Propaganda on him to allow Bermuda to retake the port Neapolis. I have never asked for anything in return for this, except a favor when the time comes.

Time for cooler heads, methinks : there are 21 ports and that is it : those with them dont like to give them up, those without them can feel they deserve a turn at being the owners : fairity and reasonableness dont come into that much, greed and envy do : that's my experience of port matters : that said, of all the 'empires' that have been around, Spain has been most amenable to sharing the map on a wider basis : if you think that's rubbish, well, that's your opinion, but I recall well enough when Barbados controlled the majority of the map and they certainly did not want to share it : when they fell and moved into Spain then barely 3 ports remained outside the new Spanish domain : guess what, some felt Spain should keep them all, but enough felt that was not the best long-term option : so Spain handed-off or just let slip many of them : thus from the freshly disturbed waters grew many new nations enjoying their moment in the sun : so yes, Spain has been generous and tolerant of new nations ambitions, far more than the other power blocs ever were and its typically irrational that they should be accused of not being so when no other nation has ever been as obliging.
But, obviously, some see that as weakness and, while claiming some moral right to being a port owner, seem to think Spain is under further obligation to give up all its ports to somehow 'prove' they aint such heartless meanies and, of course, Spain has no moral right to be a port owner itself.
Nevermind : no doubt Spain will give good account of itself and if IoM gain more ports, they will deserve them for their cheek, lets hope they dont scream too loudly when another emerging nation decides those ports should be theirs... its a cycle of envy, greed and blame and then IoM will become the baddies stopping the good guys claiming their rightful place in the governors chairs... hey ho...

Actually ,I am quite proud of Spain as a nation.
Spain has had port ownership for longer than I have played the game. I do not know of any nation who have had continuous port ownership aside of momentary changes in ownership from warfare.

Don't be so bitter because you lost a big pile of gold. If you allow that to affect you, you will be crazy by the time this show is over.

I was just simply making a point that we were never in Gasp and our influence proves that. And I truly have no fear of my loss in this game. I fully anticipate and expect a return volley of an attack from you and Spain and I welcome it. Please don't be so "tolerant" this time around. I would love to see how treat enemies of the state.

And I was trying to make the point that Wazz did not end up in Psaral by accident.

The fact is, Isle of Man then relieved Capt. Wazz of his nation, convinced the remaining inhabitants to join Isle of Man. Certainly a more honourable way to achieve port ownership than current methods.
Thanks for filling in the gaps of my recollection of Spain's generosity and tolerance. It was indeed Captain Wazz who received compassion.
