And thus begins the power struggle between the Isle of man and Spain! Who will emerge victorious?

Their influence is mostly held by 2 men. Both of which are merchants. When I left to go reclaim my sovereignty, I left with around 18.5 million influence, this severely hurt their overall hold on many ports, since I was among the top 10 I'm theirs. I'd be willing to gamble on Isle of Man, due to their enormous voodoo capacity. Spain takes a more isolationist strategy. I was instrumental in the loss of several of our ports. I staunchly refused to allow take-overs if my influence was affected.

If the isle of man can find a way to take down the long standing king of Spain, it should be fairly easy after that.

It is most unfortunate that Spanish generosity and tolerance has been mistaken for weakness by the Isle of Man. Spanish council seeks to change that opinion of Spain.
While we show tolerance to nations who have demonstrated trustworthiness and honour in their leadership, this outright invasion into Chalkos by none other than the King of the Isle of Man clearly throws those items of doubt and trust aside.

Never did anyone say Spain is weak. You are a very formidable opponent to all that sail these seas.

But I am also glad you can "tolerate" the rest of Avonmora. Very noble of you and also shows where the rest of us common folk rate.

Spain is and remains the number 2 nation through council choice, not lack of abilities.

Actually, Isle of Man has challenged all of Spain. A challenge we are unhappy about but accept for what it is. An ambitious new nation who has been unchallenged in their growth and feels their best chance to success is through warfare. For clarification, We refers to Spanish council and King
