[Browser Extensions] IM chat problems with Google Chrome

Hi,

just today I've begun to have problems with the instant-chat-with-friends feature. I can click on "friends online" and the list pops up, but then when I select a name, it shows up on the bar but I don't get a window in which to type a message.

This seems to be a problem only with Chrome. It's works okay with IE.

Got any ideas?

I've had the problem listed above but with Firefox. It's annoying but a work-around for me is to choose a friend that is offline first and then the one I intend to chat with. It is intermittent for me and happens even when I have only one tab open so I can't point out a cause at client-side although it seems unlikely that it could be a server-side problem unless the HTML code used is incompatible with your browser.
I know it's incompatible with Safari on my iPhone. I don't remember having tried with Chrome or Mercury browsers on iPhone.

We have a new version for the instant chat that we haven't installed yet. Myself, I have noticed issues on small screens. Try shift+f5 for now?

We will begin working on the game heavily on Friday. We got a lot of updates scheduled/prepared and they will start popping up in-game soon. We will push this one last and see if we can find any issues at out side and fix i

Thanks for the tip and the heads-up. If anyone tries this shift+F5 with any success, please post here what it does for you. I tried it on a regular sized screen and it does nothing. It is true that every time I had problems with chat I was playing on systems with less than 768 lines or 1024 columns of resolution.
